House interior, Amsterdam
When an older couple moves from their family home to an apartment, they would like to place objects with memories of their various foreign trips at the center of their new living space. We designed a wall unit in which these objects can be permanently displayed.
The furniture contains carefully placed lighting fixtures, so that objects are beautifully highlighted.
The wall unit is finished with bamboo, a light type of wood that gives the living space the right atmosphere without being too prominent. Behind the wall unit are the kitchen and the hall.
