Micro apartments de Ivens, Amsterdam-Ijburg
Micro apartments, small one-room apartments in the city (< 50m2 GBO), require a non-traditional floor plan, where functions are cleverly combined. This SMART built-in furniture designed by us, which combines storage space, a workplace, a double bed and a wardrobe, gives the living space sufficient spatial quality and usage options despite the small surface area.
Three compact SMART built-in furniture have been designed for the roughly 3 types of micro apartments in the building block: the SMART cube, SMART wall and SMART ceiling. The S-wall and the S-cube can optionally be installed in all types of homes. The S-ceiling is intended for the residential units on the ground floor, with extra free height. The furniture is designed in such a way that it can easily be dismantled and placed in another home in the event of changes.
