Grow! is the most nature-inclusive residential area in the Netherlands. The plan in the Weespertrekvaartbuurt in Amsterdam includes 58 owner-occupied loft homes and 165 rental homes (for medium-term & social segment). The architecture of Growth! With its almost completely vegetated facades, extensive roof gardens and ecological connections, it serves nature as much as its human users.

A green oasis with living, care and working draws nature into the city. The overgrown ensemble of residential blocks with its three-dimensional world of playful routes stimulates movement, creates space for plants, animals and people and invites spontaneous encounters and discoveries. The front doors of almost all homes are directly adjacent to greenery. The route to the apartment goes through nature and green terraces, elevated bridges and densely vegetated facades.

Elk blok binnen het plan heeft zijn eigen karakter, maar past binnen het ensemble. Materialisering, gevelopbouw en ornamentiek verschillen per volume. Het gevelgroen vormt de buitenste en grote delen van het jaar meest beeldbepalende laag. De blokken hebben daarmee een gelaagde en in de tijd veranderlijke levende gevel. Temp.architecture is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp van twee blokken (A en B). Bestaande uit een 24-uurszorginstelling met 32 wooneenheden, 37 middensegmenthuurwoningen en 700 m2 kantoren en commercieel programma.
